The tapestry was created from one of my oil paintings of the same name.
By introducing the iconic mushroom cloud into the tradition of tapestries, as historical documents/propaganda tools, I hope to create an intriguing spectacle. This contemplation on a split second encompasses the feminine craft, the catastrophic act and the meditative result, all vying for attention.
